Last year we filled our beloved Lisbon with the talent of improvisers from the four corners of the globe. There were four intense days of workshops, shows and lectures that delighted all the improvisers who visited us. Now, in 2026, we return with more energy and strength than ever, to give you the best improvisation in the world!

"Participating in Irreverente 2025 was one of the most significant experiences in my journey so far. It was my first international festival, and I arrived with my stomach in my throat, not knowing what to expect. What I found was a group of generous and talented improvisers from so many different places and cultures that it was impossible not to learn something new in every conversation, performance, and workshop. The scenes, the exchanges, and even the pauses became small moments of discovery. I returned home with a simple and warm feeling that I had experienced something truly important. The kind of experience that makes you want to continue creating and improvising for a long time."

"Irreverente was an experience that genuinely changed something within me. Working with and being directed by this group of international improvisers took me into uncharted territory in the best possible way. I explored aspects of improvisation I had never touched before, and it challenged me both as an actress and as an artist. The workshops, exhibitions, and conversations we had gave me much to reflect on. But the best part is that I met people who became friends. There's something about connecting through collaborative creation that magically accelerates those bonds. I left with a full heart and already wanting to return.
